Went down to TTSH early in the morning today to collect my medication (as arrange wif nurse) b4 heading to office....
While waiting for my turn at the Pharmcy, I saw a funny incident....
An Aunty alighted from a cab, and asked the driver to wait...while she headed to the Lobby to talk to the Receptionist...as he is busy he asked her to wait by the side for a while...
As I was sitting at the seats nearby, I heard the whole conversation...
Aunty - A
Maid - M
Receptionist - R
When the Receptionist came back...
R: Okie, Mdm how can I help?
A: I jux took a taxi here, and this is the receipt...I wan to know y my fare so expensive!!
R: Mdm, for this issue u have to get back to the taxi company for a reply, I wont b able to assist u on tis...if u wan u can make a complain via the telephone number stated on the receipt.
A: ...but he over-charge me....wat is this ERP??
R: Mdm, u call this number, they will explain to u or u can file a report...
Aunty walked aside with maid to the seat beside me...she started to mumble again to her maid.
A: How can he charge me $11 plus, its too much!!!
M: ya, mum...
A: Wat ERP??? 10 mins oso much charge...
M: ya, mum...
A: $11 so expensive, the driver shouldn't charge me the ERP mah, its only a matter of 10mins...he should wait or even off the ERP before he went through it...Why muz I paid for that thing...
M: ya, mum...
At tis point, I was thinking to myself....
HOW TO OFF THE ERP???
-Ask taxi uncle to climb up the gantry??
-Call LTA??
-Pluck out the IU gadget??
hahaha....funny rite....I simply jux cant stop laughing at it lor...imagine the Aunty keep mumbling and mumbling about dismantling the ERP!!!
Guess the next time I take a cab that needs to go thru the ERP gantry, I will tell the Uncle to 'remove' the gantry....hahhaha ^.^
Yesterday I was put on a day of fasting...
Nope, I wasn't on diet or hunger strike, but....

for a scoping session for my gastro at 1430hrs at TTSH, so poor me haf to bear with the hunger till everything is over!!! -__-''' (now I know how the Malays feel while they are fasting.....)
Procedure:
At 1400hrs I reported to the Admission Counter, did the normal registration and checking. Then a nurse came to bring me in for more tests...took my pressure etc...was asked to wait by the side for my bed...before I could sit, another nurse called my name...hehe
I followed her to the bed, and was wheeled into the theatre...the room was so cold and lying on the bed, I could only see faces of the nurses and doctors around me...and the big machine used to do this surgery.
The nurses took my pressure again, and sprayed some antiseptic lotion into my throat, and was asked to gurgled it. Then the doctor inserted a 'one-finger-thickness' scope into my mouth, down the throat and into the tummy...
oohooh....the feeling is so horrible....the mmt the doctor twisted the scope a little I simply felt like puking!!!
During the procedure, my tears jux rolled out!! And I was held down by the nurses in case I retaliated...haha...
The whole process took about 5mins and the doc was constantly informing me on how much longer I needed to hold on...
After that mmt, I was weak and dizzy....felt like a jelly...The nurse gaf me some refreshments, though I was so hungry couldn't take much due to the pain and the dizziness... was under observation for an hour before I was discharged....waited till about 5pm plus before I left for home...
Endure the hunger till about 6pm before I finally got my hands on food...yummy!!!
This morning, I recvd a call from the hospital informing me that the doc did some test on my tummy tissue (got some out during the surgery) and found some harmless bacteria in me, so they wan me to get some medication...was so shocked to hear that wor....hianx...
K lah hope all will be fine.....
Jenny the Horse
A man was sitting reading his paper when his wife hit him round the head with a frying pan.
"What was that for?" the man asked.
The wife replied "That was for the piece of paper with the name Jenny on it that I found in your pants pocket".
The man then said "When I was at the races last week Jenny was the name of the horse I bet on"
The wife apologized and went on with the housework.
Three days later the man is watching TV when his wife bashes him on the head with an even bigger frying pan, knocking him unconscious.
Upon re-gaining consciousness the man asked why she had hit again.
Wife replied ...."Your horse phoned"
hahah...was having so much fun last nite at dinner....we joked and luff over everything we share....
Let mi share wif u a joke, as we were on the way, someone suggested that we take the bus to the place, as the bus will alight directly in front of the resturant we are heading to.
Everyone agreed as that someone is so sure and will led the way...and guess wat happened??!!
Almost towards the end of the BUS journey (not our journey ok, it the bus route journey), then only did that someone realised that we had board the WRONG BUS!!! We hurriedly alighted and were all stuck on that quiet area to hop onto another bus to get to tt place....So funny and embrassed lor, we were took on a bus tour!!!
Anyway we got to the destination finally and started ordering the mmt we sat down,all famished...we ordered quite a number of dishes and drinks. (no camera = no pics lor...keke)
Yummylicious and enjoyable dinner, eat till we really cant walk....hahaha
Wat a memorable incident wor...k now back to work ...c ya really soon

Such long time nv update sial (actually is teo complain liao lah)...been busy and lazy lately...
Hasnt been feeling well lately, been having one-sided headache...

Today me had great fun in office...cos we had curry chicken for lunch (Ms Ng cooked de)...we brought in bread, baguette and nice nice Angeline cooked us 'brayni' rice wor...yummy but hor as 4 of us (me and gang) had late lunch, we oni had little chicken bones and meat, potatoes, curry gravy and tonnes of bread wor !!! Sad -__-'''

After work later, me going to have more good food...heading to a Thai resturant wif some of my colleagues!!! Cant wait for the yummylicious food!!
Seems like I need to put my dieting plan aside for now!! hehe, cant blame lah, got good food how to say no rite...hehe...

I am on MC for 4 days within a week!!! How great could that be!!!
I m not happy abt it and I bet those pple in my office...wonder how their face looks like when the news goes "Alicia is on MC again!"
Sad to say, I am really in a bad shape this time to work...I can bearly communicate wif anyone...the mmt air gets into my mouth, I cough like nobody's business....it can go on and on and on till my lungs, chest and tummy feels the great pulling tension...
This cough is getting on my nerves...its been wif mi for such a long long time and still not leaving me in peace...I can go on like tt... its a torture!!!
The cough was so bad this week that now my whole body especially my tummy hurts so badly...I need to press on it wheneva I cough, even a slight one....
Jux pray hard that it go off soon, or else I have to cancel my scoping appt and cant enjoy my DD bday chalet liao....

I have been unwell since 11 Feb to be exact...
It started with a bad sore throat....then I lost my voice for 2 days!!!
Thereafter, I got slight cough and it got worst over the days!!! Soon it became an 'itchy' cough (cough wheneva the throat gets itchy due to toking) and now....I got a bad cough and fever!!!
Sucks!! Feel so bad!!!
I was down wif fever since this morning, temp was 37.2 degree C (using the mouth thermo). Thinking that it was jux slight, I went to work(dun dare to see doc liao, cos been seeing too often le, last seen was last Friday nite)....checking my temp every few hrs, at 10am, it was 37.5 dC liao....took a panadol...hoping that it will subside, as I started to feel chill,weak,pain all over and was floating...
By 12noon, my temp was 37.9dC liao...no choice, I went to see Comp doc...
Was prescribed with 5 diff kinds of tablets...and was given 2 days MC...
Jux feel so terrible when you are ill, hate the fever, feeling warm all over...and guess wat... I was pratically sweating in the air-con office this morning!! It was dripping lor... geeez -__-'''
